The increasing demand of powder metallurgy products is the driving force of the rapid development of China's iron powder production

 
Powder metallurgy is a cost effective manufacturing process, because it causes the least amount of waste, the material
utilization rate is above 95%, while for metal cutting processing, the material utilization rate is about 45%. Powder
metallurgy parts are widely used in automotive, mechanical and electrical, home appliances, communications, machinery
manufacturing and other components, and many other areas, the economic benefit is very considerable.
Iron powder is the foundation of the powder metallurgy industry raw materials, all countries in the world attaches great
importance to the production of iron powder. The world produce more than 100 tons of iron powder each year,  China has
more than 30 tons production capability, with reduced iron powder production accounted for 60%. It is mainly distributed
in several big steelmakers in our country. Iron powder production, quality and the price of iron powder directly influence
the development of powder metallurgy and magnetic materials industry.
At present, the industry is rapidly developing in our country, as the industrial structure adjustment and upgrading, the
domestic demand of powder metallurgy products in 20% 30% growth rate, which is the force driving the rapid
development of iron powder production in China in recent years. However, at present our country of powder metallurgy
parts compared with the developed countries has larger gap. Gap is the driving force for the development of the industry,
